Once again our thanks to our organisers Glenda Montgomery, Director Alan Johnston,  Directors and all the helpers for their work in raising a massive £2,095 for the Beatson.
A big thank you to all the people who donated so many prizes for the annual raffle draw.
Another fabulous day at the Cambuslang Bowling Club

STOP PRESS: Further welcome donations have been received to this annual event held at Cambuslang Bowling Club and .....
£500 has been received from Advance Energy Systems, Glasgow,
£500 from a local donor who wishes to remain anonymous,
and £180 raised from an auction held during the Hoad Memorial Triples. 
The £1,180 will be split equally between Cambuslang & District Voluntary Care Club and Ward 4 at Hairmyres Hospital. 
This brings the total raised from this year's event to some £3,275 - an astonishing amount even by previous generous standards and we are most grateful for these donations.

The Beatson Cancer Charity are committed to the fight against cancer in a wide variety of ways - from patient wellbeing to the funding of treatment, care and research. They will ensure that the Beatson is acknowledged as one of the world’s leading cancer centres and in doing this will further enhance the overall experience of all current and former patients and their families during their time at the Beatson.

The bowls competition final was won by a Cambuslang Bowling Club rink consisting of Scott Russell (skip), Alex Hay, Kinnon Stark and President Scott Hunter. This is only the second time a current club President has won this tournament the last time being in the year 2000
