President Billy Dunsmore with some of our finalists
K.Walton, J.Low, A.hardie, RM Thomson, C.Jamieson, W.McArthur
J.McInall, President Dunsmore, J.Dennistoun

We were unable to play all our finals as some members had qualified for more than one final, this is very common but we were happy to have four rinks competing today the remainder of the finals will take place this week.

John McInall Club Champion 2005

Club presentation of prizes took place on 15th October the President's wife presented the prizes. It was disappointing to note that of the twenty+ prize winners only seven turned up to collect their prize.

Craig Jamieson

Craig Jamieson started playing bowls at Whitefield BC when he was 13 yrs old in 1992.  That same year 1992 he went on to win the Glasgow U18 singles championship ! He went on to win the Glasgow U18 singles championship a second time.
He joined Cambuslang BC in 1998 and that same year he incredibly won the Glasgow singles U25.
Six years later in 2004 he became club champion.

2005 Our President Billy Dunsmore is the current Rutherglen District Bowling Association President and as such we were proud to host the RDBA finals this year on 17th June 2005.  It was also heartening that we had two finalists:-Our singles champion Craig Jamieson & our rink finalists Ricky Callaghan, Alex Latimer, Richard McInall jnr.& Brian Page.

The rinks were winning with 3 ends to go but Rutherglen BC came back strongly to win the RDBA rinks, congratulations.
Craig Jamieson however played superbly in the singles championship to overcome the challenge from Donald Hudson from Farme BC to be crowned the RDBA Singles Champion..............well done Craig!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS CRAIG JAMIESON RDBA 2005 singles champion
