May 5th 2007    Burnside BC v Cambuslang BC
With the closure of our near neighbours Farme BC in 2006 we had a vacant fixture and Burnside BC contacted us asking if we would like to arrange bi-annual parish games with them. The board of directors were delighted to accept the invitation and we're sure this will prove to be a very popular game.

June 9th 2007 Hoad Bulk Transport sponsored triples

www.hbs.ukcarriers.com

This is fast becoming one of our more popular tournaments.
We had a fabulous day bowling, made all the better with the glorious sunshine, leading up to thrilling semi-finals between Bellshill Orbiston BC against Troon Portland BC and Uddingston BC against Cambuslang BC which resulted in a final between our visitors Bellshill Orbiston BC & Uddingston BC.

The team from Orbiston BC led by Past President Peter Aitken are no strangers to this club having played here many times before however the Uddingston team skipped by Jim Galt ( my uncle ! ) were playing on our green for the first time and what a fabulous day they had getting to the final.
