Ryder Cup Tournament |

The inaugural Mixed Ryder Cup competition
was run by Past President Ian Skillen. The tournament format was
thoroughly enjoyed and embraced by the 12 ladies and 12 gents members.
The teams were split into two groups of twelve with each
team having 6 ladies and 6 gents. President Peter headed one
team and his wife Lady President Ann headed the other team.
After a glorious days bowling the 'resounding' winners were
the Lady President team. Both Presidents thanked everyone
for taking part and expressed their hopes that this will
become an annual event. |

Closing Day

Our
Closing Day tournament on Saturday 9th
October was sponsored by the Bell
Group who also entered a team for the event.
A fine dry day gave us the opportunity to finish the outdoor
bowling season with a 12 end tournament which was enjoyed by
all. A cabaret dance finished of events in style. |
