Jun 2nd 2012	Jim & Audrey Hoad Memorial invitation triples
Cambuslang Bowling Club’s annual ‘Jimmy & Audrey Hoad memorial’ triples, sponsored by his son Stuart of Hoad Bulk Services since 2006. The tournament was successfully run by Cambuslang’s match committee with twenty teams from within and around the area playing in this years tournament and after a lovely days bowling the final was played  between Burnbank Hamilton BC [ Jim McInall, George Lyons, Scott McInall (Skip)] and Cambuslang BC [Charlie Davie, John Dennistoun, John MacDonald (Skip)] with the Burnbank Hamilton team being victorious. Our thanks to Stewart Hoad, Hoad Bulk Transport, for his generous sponsorship yet again for a very successful day much enjoyed by all 60 contestants. Cambuslang Bowling Club won the Rutherglen District ‘Gilliland League’ at Croftfoot BC on Friday 15th June beating Kirkhill BC by 14 shots to 11 shots in a keenly fought seventeen end game. The Cambuslang team was Alex Latimer PP, John Barton, Sandy McKean & skip Brian Page.   (Kirkhill BC team was Ian McKay, Vince Dodds, Rennie Dobinson & Jim Cunningham)
