Past
President Alex Helm |
|
Sadly on
18th June 2013 after a
long illness, Past
President Alex Helm died.
Our sincere sympathies go
to his wife Cathie and the
family.
Past President Alex was club
Treasurer from
2001-2010. An
ex-stockbroker he
continued to work
until his health
deteriorated. A keen
member of our 1874
Investment Club with
interests in football,
social dominoes, snooker (
ex-tournament player )
and John Wayne videos
! Politics - he was a
self confessed
chauvinistic
conservative!
Alex was a keen Friday
and Monday night
visitor to our club
and he will be sadly
missed.
Funeral arrangements
Friday 21st June,
12:30 at South
