Our History 1925 - 1940 Learn from the past ....use well the future

. 1874-1924 1925-1940 1941-1960 1961-1995 1999 Our 125th anniversary Video1874-2006 2008 2019		. *1925* New clubhouse opened. War Memorial inserted into the main wall inside the club
		*1st May 1926 Flagpole Erected*. The flagpole was presented to the club by John Hall, JP who was President in 1923 & 1924 The flagpole was erected by William S. Fyfe on 1st May 1926 ( don't know if he was a member but I assume he was )
		~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ The next three b/w photos shown below have no date They show the old clubhouse in all its splendour. The dress code was very smart and you can see how well turned out everyone is. Fabulous old photographs. We reckon these photos were possibly taken 1925 at the opening of the new clubhouse. Certainly taken c1925-1935 They were found by Burnside couple Douglas & Alison Morrison, who kindly passed them onto the club Douglas's father John Morrison jnr. was President in 1963 . and his grandfather John Morrison sen. was President in 1941
