Charity Day

President Will McArthur was delighted to thank our organisers Past President Jim Montgomery jnr, his wife Glenda and Past President Harry Faulds for all their work in raising a massive £2390 for the childrens hospice CHAS.

In March 2006 the British Heart Foundation Glasgow Cardiovascular Research Centre in Glasgow University opened a Clinical Investigation Unit in Alex MacFarlane's memory.

British Steel

Our good friends from British Steel had their annual rinks tournaments today, our thanks go to the organisors and  Past Pesident Peter Phillips for recording another successful outing & we look forward to welcoming you all back next year.

Family Hearts FC supporters bus via an Edinburgh bowling club came to visit us at the club at 11.00am, a excellent crowd, lovely atmosphere and they headed off to Hampden at 2.00pm.  My thanks to Eileen, May & Ann for the catering.
footnote ... Hearts won the cup beating Gretna on penalties after a 1-1 draw.
