Craig Jamieson started playing bowls at Whitefield BC when he was 13 yrs old in 1992.  That same year 1992 he went on to win the Glasgow U18 singles championship ! He went on to win the Glasgow U18 singles championship a second time.
He joined Cambuslang BC in 1998 and that same year he incredibly won the Glasgow singles U25.
Six years later in 2004 he became club champion.

2005 Our President Billy Dunsmore is the current Rutherglen District Bowling Association President and as such we were proud to host the RDBA finals this year on 17th June 2005.  It was also heartening that we had two finalists:-Our singles champion Craig Jamieson & our rink finalists Ricky Callaghan, Alex Latimer, Richard McInall jnr.& Brian Page.

The rinks were winning with 3 ends to go but Rutherglen BC came back strongly to win the RDBA rinks, congratulations.
Craig Jamieson however played superbly in the singles championship to overcome the challenge from Donald Hudson from Farme BC to be crowned the RDBA Singles Champion..............well done Craig!!!!

GBA - Glasgow Bowling Association Singles final
This years Glasgow Bowling Championship was held at Rutherglen BC on 2nd July 2005and our club champion Craig Jamieson was narrowly beaten in a thrilling final 17 - 21 against Titwood BC bowler Robert Moles who has now won this prestigious title three times.
Craig has been a credit to Cambuslang BC both on and off the green and we congratulate him on having such a wonderful year. Winning the RDBA singles and runner-up in the Glasgow singles.
Footnote : Craig won this years Presidents competition narrowly beating your webmaster 21 - 19 !!
